LASER HAIR REMOVAL<\/strong><\/p>\n

WHAT IS IT?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dark and thick hair is a common cosmetic problem in both sexes, sometimes causing inflammatory processes and spots. Today, the use of laser for the permanent removal of unwanted hair is becoming increasingly widespread.<\/p>\n

LASER TREATMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

The laser beam, emitted by the Light Sheer device, is a diode laser that uses the principle of selective photothermolysis, meaning the target to be reached is solely the hair (melanin), without damaging the surrounding structures. The laser tip is cooled and ensures protection of the epidermis (as it also contains melanin).<\/p>\n

PRE-APPLICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not use hair removal methods that pull hair out for a period of 30 to 40 days before the first laser session. This method should also not occur during the intervals between sessions.<\/p>\n

POST-APPLICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sensitivity and pain<\/strong>
\nYou may experience a slight burning sensation in the treated area for a few hours after the laser application. If you feel any pain or discomfort, take acetaminophen. Do not apply abrasive substances or other medications without your doctor's authorization. Do not apply bandages.<\/p>\n

Compresses<\/strong>
\nApply cold chamomile compresses during the first two hours.<\/p>\n

Darkening (hyperpigmentation)<\/strong>
\nIf it occurs, it tends to disappear spontaneously in 2 to 6 months. This reaction is more common in people with darker skin and may worsen if the treated area is exposed to the sun. In this case, we usually use lightening products.<\/p>\n

Lightening (hypopigmentation)<\/strong>
\nRare, but it can occur in an area subjected to multiple treatments. It tends to normalize in 3 to 6 months; however, in some cases, it may be permanent.<\/p>\n

Scars<\/strong>
\nThey are extremely rare but can occur in case of skin injury. By strictly following all postoperative care, the chances of occurrence are reduced.<\/p>\n

Makeup<\/strong>
\nMakeup can be applied immediately after the laser procedure.<\/p>\n

Sun<\/strong>
\nAvoid sun exposure for a period of 20 to 30 days.<\/p>\n

Final result<\/strong>
